Hey, I saw the table you posted for distance, location, and time tracking wearables. What’s the difference between a smartwatch and a GPS wearable?

They both seem to be able to track location and distance.

That’s a good question! Smartwatches are designed for everyday use or exercise, with GPS and sensors that track activity and even provide health data. GPS wearables, on the other hand, are specifically designed for location tracking and safety and emergency functions.

For example, the Spot Gen 4 also has an SOS function, making it safer to use outdoors.

Oh, so there are also wearables for professional sports and military use?

How are they different from regular smartwatches?

Yes, the Polar Vantage and TRX Systems are durable and can track detailed activity data over long periods of time.

Military wearables can monitor not only location tracking but also work efficiency and safety, making them completely different from regular smartwatches.
