It’s a little confusing.
Both smartbands and smartwatches offer similar features, but I understand that there are differences in size and design.
Smartwatches generally have a large screen and a variety of features, while smartbands have a simpler and lighter design, providing features that are primarily focused on health and exercise.
Smartwatches support more apps and features, while smartbands focus on basic notifications and exercise tracking features.

I know this much, but can you explain more about it?

Smartbands and smartwatches are both wearable devices that are worn on the wrist, but they have distinct differences in functionality, design, and price. It is easy to understand if you think they are similar to the difference between “simple exercise assistant” and “small computer on the wrist.” Let’s take a closer look at the main differences.

1. Key Features:
1) Smartband: It mainly focuses on health and fitness tracking. It comes with the ability to measure steps, heart rate, calorie consumption, sleep patterns, and more. Some high-end models also offer features such as blood oxygen saturation measurements and automatic exercise detection. It provides limited smart features compared to smartwatches, such as checking notifications and simple messages.

2) Smartwatch: It’s more like a wrist move of a smartphone’s features. Health and fitness tracking is standard, and it offers a variety of features, such as making phone calls, sending messages, using apps, playing music, and making payments. Some models have features, such as GPS, built-in storage, and cellular connectivity.

2. Design and Display:
1) Smartband: It features a thin and light design. It mainly uses narrow, long-shaped displays, and the display of information is simple. There are many designs that focus on exercise and health care rather than fashion accessories.

2) Smartwatch: often adopts a design similar to a regular watch. It uses a larger display, either circular or square, and can display a variety of information and app interfaces. There are also many models that can change watchlines to create different styles.
