Here are wearables that incorporate acoustic sensors, such as microphones and sound detection technologies, to enable applications in communication, health monitoring, and ambient interaction:

  1. Apple AirPods Pro
Wireless earbuds with microphones that enable active noise cancellation, transparency mode, and high-quality audio for calls and media playback.

  2. Amazon Echo Frames
Smart glasses with embedded microphones and speakers that allow hands-free access to Alexa for voice commands, music, and notifications.

  3. Jabra Elite 85t
Wireless earbuds equipped with multiple microphones for advanced noise cancellation, clear voice capture during calls, and ambient sound mode.

  4. Google Pixel Buds Pro
Earbuds with acoustic sensors for adaptive sound management, including real-time noise cancellation and dynamic volume adjustment based on environmental noise.

  5. Bose Frames Audio Sunglasses
Smart glasses with integrated acoustic sensors to deliver immersive audio without blocking environmental sounds, ideal for outdoor activities.

  6. Oticon More Hearing Aids
Hearing aids that use acoustic sensors to amplify and process environmental sounds, providing better speech clarity and reducing background noise.

  7. Shokz OpenRun Bone Conduction Headphones
Wearables that use acoustic sensors and bone conduction technology to deliver audio through vibrations, leaving ears open to ambient sounds for safety and situational awareness.

  8. Nuheara IQbuds2 MAX
Wireless earbuds designed for hearing enhancement, featuring acoustic sensors that allow users to adjust sound settings to optimize their hearing experience in various environments.

  9. Samsung Galaxy Watch6
A smartwatch with built-in microphones for voice commands, phone calls, and ambient noise monitoring, enhancing communication and usability.

  10. Apollo Neuro
A wellness wearable that uses acoustic vibrations delivered through the skin to help users manage stress and improve sleep and focus.

These wearables utilize acoustic sensors for a variety of purposes, from enhancing audio experiences to improving communication and health monitoring, while adapting to the user’s environment.

I want to listen to music while hearing the surrounding sounds outdoors. Which wearables are good?

Then I recommend products like the Shokz OpenRun or Bose Frames. The Shokz use bone conduction, so you can hear sounds without covering your ears, and the Bose Frames combine sunglasses with audio, making them perfect for listening to music while walking or exercising.

Then I recommend the Jabra Elite 85t or the Apple AirPods Pro. Both have multiple microphones, so they capture voices clearly during calls, and they also block out ambient noise, making them reliable even in noisy cafes or on the street.

Yes! Wearables like the Apollo Neuro send vibrations through the skin to help relieve stress and improve concentration. Earbuds like the Nuheara IQbuds2 MAX and Oticon More are comfortable to wear because they improve hearing and manage ambient noise.

Yes! Amazon Echo Frames are one of them. They wear like glasses and have a built-in microphone and speaker, so you can use Alexa hands-free, listen to music, and check notifications. They’re super convenient.
