Are acoustic sensors in wearables actually useful, or just hype?
Topic starter
I’ve been seeing more wearables claiming to use acoustic sensors — for breathing, heart sounds, even muscle movement.
But outside of research papers, how useful are these really in daily life?
Anyone here actually used a wearable that relies on sound/vibration instead of optical sensors?
Curious where this tech genuinely shines vs where it’s just marketing buzz.
