Wearables for People with Respiratory Issues or Environmental Sensitivities

Device Type Function Example Products
Air Quality Monitoring Wearables Measures pollutants, particulate matter (PM2.5, PM10), gas concentrations (CO, VOCs), and alerts the user to poor air quality. Atmotube Pro: Monitors air quality, temperature, humidity, and VOCs in real-time.
Respiratory Monitoring Wearables Tracks breathing patterns and lung function, alerting users when issues arise or when breathing becomes difficult. Spire Health Tag: Monitors breathing patterns and stress levels, providing real-time alerts.
Allergy Alert Wearables Detects allergens (such as pollen, dust) in the environment and notifies users when allergens are present. Flow: Monitors respiratory health and alerts when allergens or harmful particles are detected in the air.
Environmental Change Monitoring Wearables Monitors rapid changes in environmental conditions (temperature, humidity) and notifies users for proactive health management. SenseWear: Tracks body temperature, activity levels, and surrounding temperature, providing feedback on environmental changes.

These wearable devices help individuals with respiratory issues or environmental sensitivities by providing real-time data on air quality, allergens, and respiratory health, allowing them to take necessary actions to protect their well-being.

Hey, I saw your post about a wearable for respiratory issues. It really checks air quality in real time? So, does that mean I’ll get an immediate alert on days with high levels of fine dust?

Yes, products like the Atmotube Pro detect air pollutants like PM2.5, PM10, and VOCs in real time and send an immediate alert if the air quality is poor. So, I can prepare immediately for days with high levels of fine dust.

Oh, so people with allergies can use it? Does it detect pollen or dust and notify you?

Yes, allergy alert wearables like Flow detect allergens in the surrounding air and alert you if they’re dangerous. They tell you when to wear a mask or go indoors.

Wow, so it can also track my breathing patterns? So I can immediately tell when I’m having trouble breathing?

Yes, breathing monitoring wearables like Spire Health Tag continuously track my breathing patterns and notify me immediately if something goes wrong. It’s reassuring to know I can respond quickly even in shortness of breath.
